Heather earned a break point with a short ball and lob that Pironkova smashed out but then couldn't convert.

With Pironkova on the stream and Niculescu on the TV it almost seems like the slice forehand is a normal shot.

Eurosport commentary just said that Hev is not on a televised court so I'm not sure what I'm watching on the stream

Heather goes 15-40 down, saves one BP with an ace and then three rallies each end with Pironkova over hitting or hitting wide.

Heather earns two break points and converts the 1st. She earlier got pulled into the net, returned the ball and then hit a winning overhead. Peronkova had a discussion with the umpire.

Pironkova earns 3 break points with some hard hitting rallies, Heather saves one with an overhead smash at the net, another after a long rally but misses the 3rd.

Cant get a first serve in and she's falling apart

Sad stuff. She's just not turned up. Missing easy balls by miles.
