Definition of Amateur Tennis in the UK

Could anyone help me with a definition for what amateur tennis means in terms of UK competition?

For instance I work full time in a non-tennis job, but I could still enter a minor tournament and win some money - so the definition can not solely be about earning money.

Take a top50 uk player who competes on the british tour and futures events. Yearly earnings are £10k coaching, £10k prize money and £10k bank of mum and dad - would you class them as pro? Full time coach who was never a great player, would they still be classified professional?

Could it be split by British Tennis Rating, i.e. 1.1-3.2 = Pro, 4.1+ amateur?

Non world ranked amateur - world ranked pro?

Interested in what people think.
