Tough on Joko - after a poor start, I thought she was the better player for most of the match.

When the serve goes well and her groundstrokes are aggressive Jo looks like a top 100 player.

Played well in parts (first serve looked good) but was aided by a very erratic Kiki. Made far too many basic errors (her first two service games were good examples, she should never have lost those,  not to mention the return at 0-30 in the first game of the third) and her footwork left a lot to be desired, got jammed up to easily. Just a bad match-up for her I guess.

Hopefully the ankle is holding together ok, she's certainly showing she could do well in Melbourne. Certainly shes showing she should be getting her ranking back up, was quite encouraged overall.

Can anyone remember her coaches name? I couldn't make out the name of the academy on his polo shirt.
