Poland will be the tough match, i'd expect Australia to be a comfortable victory.
I agree Poland the standout team, and Australia do have Dellacqua for the doubles so I'm not sure that'll be straight forward, of course Hev could take her out in the singles, so we won't have to worry about that.
At 10am Wednesday we play the Polish team of Jerzy Janowicz and Agnieszka Radwanska
At 5.30pm on Friday we play the Australian team of Matt Ebden and Casey Dellacqua
Heather has lost three times to Agnieszka, she doesn't seem to have played Casey before and may have a chance of a win.
Andy has a 4-1 record against Jerzy and a 2-0 record against Matt
Watched the delayed TV coverage last night and felt Hev's ball striking was a bit off early on, and then by the time she'd rediscovered that Cornet was so dominant that she was overplaying and as a result was making way too many errors. In the doubles she wasn't under the same pressure so could start to exert her own authority, playing some top stuff in the MTB.
Andy was solid and noticeably didn't seem affected by all the travelling and late arrival, they didn't show the Cornet ace, but there plenty of chat about it afterwards in the great post match interview ;)
Echoing earlier comments about Heather and what a good thing it is for her to be seeing (playing) a number of top ranked girls. Looks a good format as preparation for GS tournaments for all concerned, andy getting some good hits with solid players also. Schedule a bit too full to repeat it before other GS events but does look fit for purpose.
