Think I mentioned it before in another thread but shoulder surgery is very difficult to come back from when a player's game is built around their serve - it took Sharapova at least a year to 18 months to be able serve anything like consistently again. All the breaks of serve suggest to me that Tara's ground strokes and return of serve are as ferocious as ever but that her own serve is now unreliable or weaker and easily broken in it's turn.

I'm now pretty convinced Tara came back way too quickly from surgery.

Certainly serve is the main issue.

At least Tara is seeing improvement there, whatever the stats say for now.

I think it's going to take time and I hope she can remain positive and focussed.

Rereading Tara's tweet, it looks possibly more an ironic comment that her opponent's serve is rather better than her own.

Ah well, as long as she is overall improving, including hopefully that serve ...
