Ah pity. Another week to go in India, but Katy looking like she could maybe do with a bit of time off to regroup before she hopefully pushes on again.

Hmm, we were seeded to get two with a pretty well ranked third player. So not too good that one is already out and with the draw another goes out in R2. Though hopefully the Emily vs Katie winner will go even further.

Em v Katie first on tomorrow (Em is still on court in the middle of her doubles match at 10:15pm....)

Katy missed 5-4 40-0* in the second set of her match. So a big ouchie.

Em and Ankita should have been away and clear with all the break points they had, and they also led *9-7 in the MTB, but were punished for their wastefulness, losing 16 63 11-9, which is a pretty disappointing end to a very long day.

I wonder what on earth happened in Katy's match - losing from a set, break and match points up, especially against a very low-ranked player is a shocker and not really like her at all
