What a good week (so far) for Joe !

Particularly on the singles front.

Just what many of us had been expecting/hoping since he kicked off his Pro adventure in June. But it took a while coming and you begin to wonder . . .

Joe's conqueror Authom went on to win the title - his 5th in a row! His 25-match winning streak includes 8 wins against Brits (the rest in Loughborough and Bath last month), of whom Joe won the most games.

Joe breaks into the ATP singles top 1000 for the first time in tomorrow's new rankings (which are already out), missing out the 900s altogether as he rises 224 places to 828. He also breaks into the ATP doubles top 500, up 58 to 472
