Nasty draw for Joe given that there are only 3 matches in qualifying in total (5 get byes through to the main draw) - he gets a former top 100 junior & former top 700 senior playing his first Futures match since 2010.

Not entirely unexpected, but a long way for no reward for Joe:

Joe travels all round the world and is yet to pick up a point.

I briefly saw him play Peter Ashley at Wrexham and he was double bagelled, so I think he will continue to struggle to get any success at this level.
