Scott has unfortunately been carrying an injury last 24 hrs. Taking a long taxi ride early am to have a scan prior to match -v 2nd seed. Just on a good run, so really unfortunate to have to pull out of doubles. Let's hope only a niggle!

Hi, and welcome, boxford And great to get the 'inside' info, even if the info itself isn't that great
But here's hoping the scan show nothing too bad . . . he's been rather unlucky with injuries . . .
If winning is not hard enough when your fit, let's hope it settles with some rest and Scott can do himself justice without causing any lasting damage against the number 2.
qualifying to QF is a lot of tennis and a fantastic achievement Scott may just have to be patient rest up and go again when he's fit managing the niggles on a budget is a major challenge for these guys. I presume they have strict guidelines?
At least he is getting matches in, though a way off his best form. Yet another 2 points ( his current 18th counter ) adds nothing to his ranking score.
Hopefully, he is at least much fitter again and can work towards refinding his best game in the close season.
Richard Gabb lost to (2) Ramkumar Ramanathan (IND) 6-4 6-2
Will still take Richard up to 59 ranking points on Monday week, level on points with Tom F and Luke B. These 3 will be at the head of the queue quite some distance behind Josh Milton, the GB no 13 on 110 points.
Richard and Luke are down to play here again next week ( along with Dan S and Dave R ).
