Bambo underway and 5-2 up.

Looking at Bambo's record very consistent, but just the odd big score in there.

Yes, I agree. You can't help feeling that, as a young player, he just needs a 'sudden click' and it'll all fall into place and move up a notch.

First set done : 6-2

Yes, looking at Luke's ranking points accumulation in the last 8 months he's generally played pretty much to his seeding. He had a few unseeded SFs in the months before April.

He is currently up 168 ranking places on the year to date, but yes I'd agree that he must be really looking to move up a notch. I feel 2015 is a pretty important year with I'd say him looking to go deep more often and to be looking to get up say to the 300s.

Hmm, quute a lot of looking for Luke...

L16 will be tough for Luke against Bossel who rather gave a lesson today to a local 15 yo WC, handing out a double bagel and only losing 12 points in the entire match.

Basilashvili is serving for the match against Richard but the Brit has 3 break points at 0-40

15-40 .. 30-40 .. deuce .. ad-in MP .. deuce .. ad-out BP .. deuce (Richard is now 1/11 on bps)
.. ad in MP no. 2 .. ouch Basilashvili wins the last 5 points of the match to win 3 & 5

Meanwhile, Dan C is a set and a double break up 6-0 *4-1 but Scott is *2-5 down

Dan Cox was struggling, a break down (2-4, I think) but managed to get a run going and took the first set, 6-4

Dan S is leading, 6-2, 2-2

Agreed. Two out of two so far today. I get the feeling that the other two may be a tad more tricky though.

James is a break down at *2-4

Luke has just started. *0-1

I think Bambo has a chance as long as he returns well. Bossel game is built all around his serve and if that fall down or it goes to baseline, Luke will have a chance.

James lost 3&2 but this will still go down as a historic week for him. Well done James.
