Fran is 3-1 up in the third set.

Harriet has had a very up and down season - when she is good, she is very very good.

Klasen just won by retirement.

QF: Francesca Stephenson WR 911 v (7) Anna Klasen (GER) WR 552 (= CH)

H2H 0-1 - Klasen won 1 & 4 at the same stage last week and went on to win the title

Fran lost the first set 6-3.

And was a break down in the second.

But has just broken back. Fran leading 5-4*

Yes, really hope that it's starting to come together more markedly again for Fran and that next year can have her really climbing up the rankings again.

Fran played doubles QF with Harriet and won and has to play semi final against the Klasens this afternoon.

 Particularly pleased for Fran.  After the injury-filled time she's had of late, being in a dubs final 2 weeks in a row must really lift her spirits and will surely feed through into increased confidence in the singles.
