RE: the curveball thread

Could someone give me tips to serve aces in level 6? Also, has anyone ever fired an ace in level 7?

My serve is good as I usually ace over eight times between levels 1 and 5 and that can go up to thirteen. But I just can't do it in level 6.

I've never been able to do aces past level 4 so I'm not really the man to help with that, the best I can do is usually a 2-3 punch combination at L6. Deep serve into one of the corners and then and right uppercut into the top right-hand corner, followed by the knockout straight left - right through the guard !

Lots of spins to finish the rallies in level 7 and then in level 8, just hang on for dear life

I can ace level six, but it is hard.  I also remember once getting an ace in level 7, but if you hit crazy serves above level six or mainly 7 and the puter gets it back it puts you off on a bad foot at the start of a rally.  I normally hit a normal serve and then look to dictate.  Many times when I first got to level 6 I'd hit my best serve only to lose a life.

But....if you want to ace level six, make tiny circles in the middle of the ball, then pull down sharply towards the bottom left corner then up quickly to the top right corner striking the ball as you pass it on the way up, that may well get him....it is my best serve, but be ready as he normally returns it.  Enjoy!
