Montana is right. I shouldn't be keeping curveball secrets from a mate. I found a website with all the tips and information you will ever need montana. Check it out here.-- Edited by stagger at 05:45, 2006-05-25
Yeah.....all the Micky-Ds grub is prob why Ladies Track and Field and Swimming is dominated by American girls.....take it easy there Stagger....remember my daughter and wife are Americans....lol.
Tch...rats....so I guess you are not going to give me any help with level nine then?
**** **** Blast it Doug, I've just narrowly missed getting on your leaderboard, 348015 !!! A couple of rallies away from overtaking. I'm off to try again and will do it this time.
Well I am going to stop playing for a while once that March 24 score is down to 10th place, it is now 9th. I still remember getting that score, it was the first time I hit 35,000 and I still remember being so excited and wondering if I'd ever hit that much again. I think it was in first place for weeks before I beat it. I don't want to be the one to knock that score off. Keep trying hard and getting better....coz I'd hate to see Stagger knock it off after he refused to help me with level 9....lol

hehe indeed
its the only one im good at cos i used to play it loads when i was a REALLY little kid on my brother's mobile

How do you get scores like that? I am blown away by that. I start off at the slowest pace and once you get to about 1000 the snake is so long that it takes forever to get the next section....do you start at the fast level? That is impressive how well you do on that game.

Mmmmmmm I think it has far more to do with our population and our college sports programs.....but hey.....I have lived in England (college) and over here and I see a greater emphasis in getting kids playing sports at an early age and also Summer rec programs focussed on sports with quality coaching. Then if a kid is good at a sport in High School they are recruited like crazy for years for college. Okay, I had a limited life in England, but I saw kids playing sports with each other during the Summer with little coaching that I could see (maybe if they had money it would be diff). Take my son who is six, he has already played in a basketball league, two baseball leagues and three soccer leagues. In addition, this summer he will do a week of golf, tennis and soccer....these programs cost something silly like $65. The soccer league has the coaching staff from a leading college here. His fall soccer league costs $35. Somehow someway we get kids playing here even in cold snowy little Bozeman Montana. As soon as the snow melts here the tennis courts open and are FREE. A high school coach watched my son and came over to offer pointers.
I think that has much to do with it too....although watching Barry Bonds attempt to reach 715 I realize there are tons of drugs too in American sports such as Baseball and Football. Maybe basketball, but not soccer (not a popular sport here at all and yet we make it to the World Cup and four years ago beat the Mexicans) and tennis.....or track & field and swimming.....lol
By the way, back to Curveball....I am taking my break and letting Stagger on the board to knock my old high score off....

Ahhhh shucks....I wrote all that and you were just kidding? Put a j/k afterwards so it is clear to me that you are kidding then I won't defend my great country next time.....
hey montana dont do me any favours, i will kick your arse break or no break (ah who am i kidding?)
It really would be nice to have you on the high score board again Stagger.....kinda always used to put a smile on my face when I knocked one of your scores of it again....
Just reached CURVEBALL level 8 for the first time, but still 10K short of high scores board. I don't know how you all keep up with that ball!
Johnny.....let me help you....quit now....lol....seriously taking on level 8 was a blast at first, but beat it and you get to level nine which I have been fighting for like three months. It is a pill to even get one life off it. I have not played curveball in over a week....kinda miss six, seven & eight, but so happy that I don't walk around the house ticked off coz level nine took all five of my lives quickly for none of his. Right now you are at nihvana even though I can't spell it. Quit now....lol
on the topic of games.... Maeda Path...i feel i should reveal my secret. that the only reason why i hold the high score is because i have a lil cheat/secret, but ill never tell
