Maybe a bit of a reaction by Cav to recent times. She has done well. Keep on building...

I hope that it's not by association too much of an indicator of the level Tara is at and by further recent assiciation an indicator of the level Naomi B is at. But I suspect it is a bit.

Cav's L16 defeat leaves her as GB no 11 on Monday week and confirms Harriet's entry into the top ten. Now, how much further can Harriet get this week...

So, now as well as GB top 10 ( currently up to 9th ahead of Amanda ), in the bigger picture Harriet should now enter the top 500 !

Beth got it back to 3-3 in the second set only to lose it 6-3 and has then gone 2-0 down in the final set.

A bit disappointing today, but hadn't realised Vogt won this title last year, so is maybe the favourite again this year. Thought Katy would do a bit better as well, serve seemed to let her down. Boults fought to the end, but it wasn't to be.

Solid effort by Nastya, and a stellar effort from Beth.
