I see the Vajdova girls didn't have a great day. Nikola had a bagel and breadstick from Katy(winning a set in between), whilst the "dinnerlady" (Katy Dunne twitter reference) served out two bagels to Natalia.

Now they have given a walkover to Tara and Marta in the doubles

Freya saves three set points, misses game point, broken at the fourth attempt

7-5 4-6 0-0*

So close. Fought so hard so far

Harriet is running away with her match 6-0 3-0 up

You do see some strange results though at this time of the year....

Harriet blowss a combined dozen of points for *5-1 5-2* and *5-3 then misses 2 points for 6-5*

Now 5-6* down and looks like having blown her chance

Freya misses 4 break points across two return games and is *2-5 down in the third sadly

Well done Harriet!

She had to save set points to get to the tiebreak, blew a *5-2 lead and was brought back to 5-5*, missed a match point at *6-5 before finally taking it.

Harriet v EWS will be interesting. Expecting one of Katy, Katie or Naomi to win through as well.

Well that worked out quite well and it could have been 8.

Fancy the Dunnmeister and Cav for the upset tomorrow.

I think, this week, we'll most of us trade the poor doubles for the good showing in singles.
