If you missed the interview but get there before the current doubles match ends, just rewind it to 00:00 - entertaining and informative, so well worth a watch.

Sean is having a bad serving day, but they should still win easily.

The lob that Mr Thornley hit in the final game of that match was really a thing of beauty. Nice win.

Well done Marcus and Liam!

Marcus - I watched you for the first time on livestream. Looking forward to seeing you play a lot more challengers in the future!

May the best man win tomorrow! Believe!!

Definitely Marcus should concentrate on Challengers, the livestreams are easier to find! I really enjoyed that match, as I hate ball-bashers. Just on reading about earlier matches I had had the impression that Marcus was in that line, but he is not. He has a very nice all-court game and I couldn't stop laughing at how he was frustrating his opponent.

Marcus should definitely focus on challengers and higher level tournaments from now on ! The higher level of competition is bringing out the best  in his all round court craft that is so exciting for the spectator .

marcus 'a personality will suit the bigger stage and he will feed off the positive energy .

Marcus is an intelligent and eloquent speaker I have often said that post his pro career he would make a great commentator .

He is a natural comedian and is a skilled impressionist eg does a brilliant nadal .

He's got to mix up futures and challengers I think, needs to start mopping up the futures. Also worth nothing a win today would get Marcus an SE into next week's event, would it not?

Some familiar foes on the other side of the net in the quarters:

QF:  Chase Buchanan & Tennys Sandgren (USA/USA) CR 465 (191+274) vs Gastão Elias (POR) & Sean Thornley CR 549 (355+194)

The Yanks were given a walkover against the fourth seeds, Kudla & Ram, in the first round.

Liam v Marcus is out on Court 3 today so we won't have the benefit of a commentary. I'll bet Mike C isn't happy about that scheduling.

Is Broady getting near the top 10 for coolest players on the tour? and willis the most eccentric top10? Great fun following them both this week and brilliant to see them both making such giant strides.
