C'mon, Marcus, make it an all British QF.

Been a tiring day following all these players ( if not Liam ! ). All right for the players, they just have to run around a bit :)

Interesting to see what happens between now and Davis Cup time.

I reckon that James is still in the box seat. But such has been his own form I didn't imagine that it was even going to be a question until very recently.

But be great if James could carry on well, plus Liam plus Kyle really get back on form.

Is Marcus carrying an injury? Looks uncomfortable...

Cannot work this match out. Serve dominating, but neither player looking comfortable.

Trainer on for Marcus.

Sandgren seems perplexed that he's not a break ahead given he's had 4 bps so far. Marcus has won one point on return.

Serve and volley working well for Marcus 5-4* (also up to 2 points won on return, should have won another in the previous return game)

Big call goes against Marcus at 30-30, two points away from taking the set.

Strong hold for 6-5*

Marcus' first serve deserts him in the tiebreak, making only 1/5, Sandgren takes it 4-7

Some super play from Marcus to break at the start of the 2nd set. A big bh dtl, huge forehand return winner and two more super forehands. *1-0

An ace saves bp, and a super serve and drop volley makes it 3-1*

Marcus holds after a tight game with an amazing drop volley- some of his net play is just insane. Federer eat your heart out

Marcus has got all the shots in the book and is a fantastic talent and you get the impression he can step up several gears when he wants.

Willis is a lot of fun to watch. Would love to see him at Wimbledon one year - exactly the kind of wildcard the British public would get behind
