Well done Liam - I saw the end of Duckworths match, the commentator suggested illness. It wasnt anything obvious either way.

Mike C (commentator) has now tweeted that it was a leg injury.

Congrats to Liam on his win too.

Enjoying Marcus's variety - dropshots, volleys, slices... Came close to breaking the american at 4-4

Only turned on halfway through the set. Marcus is serving well and dominant on serve. He had chances to break as well.

Marcus will have to do it the hard way and there is no reason why not, the players are both very similar in ability.

In my opinion, both players were taking the safer option when the opposition was serving on the whole and waiting for the errors to occur. I'd like to see Marcus mix up and be a bit more aggressive when Buchanan is serving.

Marcus' serve and volley play and net play is of a very high standard today. I hope the call of the trainer is not going to impede on the rest of the match.

Problem with his left elbow, I think. I hope he can get through it because Buchanan is there for the taking if Marcus can take the ball a little earlier...

Marcus wins 8 points in a row as he breaks to love.

Make that 9 in a row now.

He looks almost effortless when he hits the ball.

12 from the last 13 now - and the one he lost was a double fault.

6-7, 5-2*.

Saves two break points with some good serving and seals it with his 11th ace.

6-7, 6-3. Into a decider.

Well played Marcus - dominated the second set. Mixed up the play nicely with a bit more aggression.

Marcus breaks! Forehand pass down the line to seal it and he'll serve for the match. *6-5.
