The bruvs have made their first final for God know how long! biggrin

SF:  (4) Ken Skupski & Neal Skupski CR 200 (100+100) defeated Ante Pavic & Mate Pavic (CRO/CRO) CR 252 (198+54) by 6-3 5-7 [11-9]

Didn't they win a tournament a few weeks back ?

Whoops!    So they did:  Izmir in the middle of September.  I'd become so inured to disappointing early exits, that I just assumed they hadn't & I was just too lazy to check when I typed that...

Feels as if the end of the year is proving a time for things to pick up a bit for them. Very glad indeed.

At least there'll be no divided loyalties for the final!

By the sounds of it, decent crowd and almost DC atmosphere.

*1-1

1st set in the bag, 6-3. Serve dominated on the whole but at 4-3* 30-30, Neal came up with a fabulous winning return down the line of a serve out wide and then Ken drove a forehand down the middle on the next point to seal the break. No other BPs in the entire set.

They have a challenge system there which is quite impressive for a challenger

Well I nearly blew that for them. It was 2-2 and the guys were looking good when I stopped my live stream for a Skype call.

Tuned back in and they were *2-5 15-40 down. Now back to 5-5 though. I am going to refuse any more calls until this is over.

Would that be because the boys hail from Liverpool or because you do?
