RE: Week 45 - Great Britain F19 ($15,000) - Bath (Hard)

Dan just got broken serving for the match 6-4 5-3*

Authom has lost a set for once and Ehrat was a break up in the decider but it's now back on serve.

Rosenzweig holds, so Dan serves for the match again and goes 0-40 down

Tricky Nicky breaks to 15 and is now 40-0 up on serve - I hope Dan hasn't injured himself or something like that

6-4 5-5*

Dan goes 0-30 down again but comes through in the end so 3 GB winners:

QF: (1) Dan Smethurst WR 253 beat Nicolas Rosenzweig (FRA) WR 1069 (CH 687 in 2012) by 4 & 5
QF: (5) Josh Milton WR 379 beat (Q) Adam Chadaj (POL) WR 1187 (CH 202 in 2005) by 6-4 5-1 ret.
QF: (4) Dave Rice WR 326 beat (Q) Marshall Tutu WR 2106 by 6-2 5-7 6-3

Dan and Josh will play each other and Dave will play the winner of Authom v Ehrat, which is now in a final set tiebreak

In the last QF, the scoreboard has stuck at 2-0 to Authom in that final set tiebreak. He has to be the favourite to win that I would have thought given his recent form.

Dave will play Authom as the ITF Drawsheet confirmed my prediction of is victory. Dare I say - "Quod Ehrat Demonstrandum". IGMC

I think that Dave can get the SF win if he believes. Anyway, I think that that's a good maxime to have.

Going to be tough though even working with that Maxime.  After all the Belgian is always pretty good at this time of year.  He's just not so good in Spring, Summer or Winter.

PS.  We clearly have too much time on our hands Indi.

Bob I like your joke, but I was in there first, of course great minds think alike or something like that, haha.

Fab effort from Smethy this week, considering his layoff.

Joe/O'Hare beat Rice/Milton. And Richard/Jonny beat Scott/Toby

So Joe and David O'Hare will play Gabb/O'Mara in the final of the doubles
