No Gosea - judging by last week's results, probably not a bad decision

Whitehouse did get a wildcard and I would think he would give Strachan a match.

Bambo and Gabb have reasonable draws.

Tom has a tough section, but I would hope he would come through it.

Hope Neil is better.

Best of luck to him, Sherbert.

He's got a good draw - a couple of wins should be do-able.

Glad to see that Mark W is skipping lectures again :)

I would have thought Luke may not be feeling too confident after last week's loss. . . .

Hope Dan S is OK too - it's been a long time really . .

Thanks Coup Droit. Me too - especially looking at the draw this week. Quarters is very doable if he is fit enough. Hoping he's feeling refreshed after the break too. I wouldn't mind if Smethurst took an extra week to recover (as Neil may get him in the quarters).

He hit with Alexis a couple of times last week and he's qualified today so that may be a good sign!!

Would love to see Smethurst come back with a bang, without his post Wimbledon niggles he'd almost definitely be top 200.

Jathan has not played for sometime. Withdrew at Cumberland and not been on the entry lists for a while. Presumably injured.

That's a pretty poor result on the face of it from Joe . . .

Neil served for the set but got broken . .

Marshall served for the match (I think) but now 5*-6

Bettles took the first set

Luke and Jack into a 3rd set breaker. Real split loyalties on this one.
