Week 45 - Great Britain F19 ($15,000) - Bath (Hard)

Qualifying draw out

http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2014/6895/qs.pdf

Main draw entries:Smethurst, Rice, Milton, Bambridge, Gabb, Gosea, Pauffley, Carpenter, Farquharson, Martin, Ward-Hibbert, Marsalek, O'Mara, Carter, Oakley

Wildcards (probable):

Whitehouse, Clayton, Thornton-Brown, Hoyt

Expecting a British winner if someone can take out Authom and Barry - Farquharson and Smethurst are best bets.

It was a guess, he was on the entry list. It may be Sapwell with the wildcard - who knows.

Rhett seems way out of form. Disappointing.

Nice to see some of the juniors going well in qualifying. One of Freddie and Alexis will make main draw. Joe Woolley and Joel Can help have chances.

Joe S has been stuck on 6-3 5-0, Advantage to him, for the last little while, so I'm guessing he's won that match and the umpire hasn't flicked the gizmo.

And Bruce has beaten Jamie P.  6-4  7-5

We have the rare occurrence of Tom F playing doubles this week with Jack C. Tom has the potential to be a top class doubles player(as well as singles)

Joe and Dave have now got a seeding

Yes, I recall Tom partnering Liam to beat Lewis Burton and George Morgan in the Wimbledon boys doubles final in 2010.

What different paths these four guys have trod since then.

So by my reckoning, which is never very reliable, if Farris or Rich G beat Tom in the final and Luke makes it to the semis, that will be 3 more players in the Top 500.

Sort it out lads  wink

Bambo QF may be enough until that 10pts comes off.
