Don't want to get people's hopes up, but I see Eleanor is named in the 8-player Yorkshire team for the County Cup w/c 22nd July. They need six players for the competition.

But as her name hasn't appeared anywhere else for a while, I'd be a bit surprised if she actually plays.

Eleanor  has played today 22nd July for Yorkshire in the County tennis at Eastbourne

All the very best to Eleanor.

I remember watching her win impressively in R1 of the Glasgow 15K in February 2017.

But she was visibly limping afterwards and after that tournament and Wirral 15K a couple of weeks later she disappeared from competitive sight again

Won one, lost one, one in play - against a strong Herts team

Great news. I hope she can remain healthy and enjoy her tennis again. Such a horrible run of injuries.

Eleanor is now won 3, lost 2, one more to play today. Must be playing well as partnering Holly Horsfall they have just beaten Aimee Gibson and Olivia Sofroniou - Aimee was 15/15 last year.

I was such a follower when she broke through from juniors, such a shame that injuries deprived her (and us) of a potential top 100 player. Fab to see her back playing and (hopefully) healthy.

If I remember correctly she won the first round of juniors incredibly easily as a 13 year old the year after Laura Robson won it and I thought she might be even better than Laura. She then lost easily to on of the Pliskovas but they had about 4 years on her I think
