Townsend started to pick-off Emily's second serve mid-way through that first set, and it's been a struggle since. Just not enough first serves in play to keep herself in touch.

Four games, about an hour on court; sounds about right for this one. A bit of a meek ending but nothing to be ashamed of and a good first round win.
