Good to see the progress of the players: Ms Beazant is doing very well indeed ... and being 7th ranked in doubles (Mr Cash) is no mean achievement. Mr Colautti has also done well; that's quite an increase from the start of the year.

The system is designed to have quite a lot of movement in it as it only runs over a short period of time.  Good wins or poor losses have an immediate effect.

Several of the ranked players are in their senior year and will soon be out in the big wide world.  We know Farris G is giving tennis a go but hopefully some of the others will try too: Connor G, Natalie B, Daneika B, Joanna H.

College tennis matches are generally quite noisy anyway.  Even a few US fans can generate a mini Davis Cup type atmosphere and it can be quite intimidating at some matches for visiting teams.  However, apart from now in the Big 12, umpires can award a penalty if fans shout out whilst a player is serving, although often there is background noise from support for other courts.  I don't think the noise is a bad thing, there's certainly more atmosphere at most college matches than in any British Tour or lower level pro matches that I've seen in this country.  Having fans specifically abusing and trying to distract opposing players is something else though and I hope no other conference follows suit.
