I didn't watch it but I assume James must have been pretty bad to lose 3 and 2 to Ramos on a hard court. The Spaniard has only played two matches on any surface other than clay since January.

That being said we should also remember that James has woeful indoor record.

 He can potentially play 4 challengers before the end of the year but I always dislike players carrying on deep into November when they should be putting their feet up for a few weeks before they begin preparation for the following year.
