Eep. Foretz has been holding much more comfortably in the past few games and putting Tara under heaps of pressure. Suddenly this looks like a tough prospect.

Again Tara finds herself two points away at 30-30, but the Frenchwoman levels and looks to be on her way to a great escape in this set.

Now might be the time to remember that Tara has won one match since the end of May.

Summary of the story so far - Tara won the first 8 games and ended up 6-0 5-2* up but Foretz has won 6 games in a row since to go a break up in the decider. Er ...

L32: Tara Moore WR 293 lost to Stéphanie Foretz (FRA) WR 229 (CH 62 in 2003) by 0-6 7-5 6-4

Tara won 3 more points and 2 more games than Foretz (including, as mentioned above, the first 8 games) but closing out matches continues to be a big problem.

Well, at least she made it close in the third.

Her inability to close out that match pretty much sums up her last 6 months. Too inconsistent when it really counts to go anywhere.
