From 30-0 to break point. Saved with an ace, but here's a second. Saves that one as well. Third break point is saved too. And the fourth....

5-2*

Lost a lot of points behind her first serve in that game.

:/

Bonaventure holds from 0-30 and this is starting to look shaky. The Belgian doing much better behind her second serve than her first.

*5-3

Oh no. Goes down 0-40, gets it back to deuce. Break point number 4 of the game...

5-4*

That's a killer blow from the Belgian, thought Em might be about to get away with it there but in the end all that hard work has been undone :(

How Em didn't fashion a single set point from 30-30 at 5-0*, 30-0 at *5-1, 0-30 at 5-2* or even deuce at *5-3 I don't know.

Broken from 30-0 again and the Belgian holds to love with an ace, so Em loses the first set 7-5.

Well, it was fun while it lasted I guess. Given the way the games went, it's pretty incredible that Em didn't get a single game point from 5-0*. She was doing so well, but once again just couldn't get it over the line against a top 250 player. All between the ears in this sport isn't it

Will do well to stop the run of games now.

10 points in a row lost as the streak moves to 8

0-1*

First serve points won have dropped form 83% at 5-0* to just over 50%

Em does stop the rot, with a break to 15. Could have done with that half an hour ago but never mind...

*1-1

Haha, and then holds to love. Tennis, eh? Gotta love it.

2-1*

Em loses 75 62. Sore one for sure, no idea what happened to cause that first set to slip through her fingertips.

Nik and partner have received a walkover into the semi-finals of the doubles, so at least that's something.

Emily has now given a walkover in the doubles, so there may be something significantly wrong.
