That's a terrible result indoors.

Poat Wimbledon has really been a bit of a shambles and indoors is the time of year she should be flying.

Naomi's current ranking is based to quite a large extent on grass court results from the Far East and Wimbledon. I'm yet to be convinced that she can play well enough on slower surfaces to sustain herself at that level of the tour.

Had reasonably high hopes of some GB successes this week from somewhere, before the event began. Tuesday evening, just Joss & Anna left for tomorrow.

They have switched now to either Rosol in Vienna, or Cepelova/Lepchenko from earlier in Luxembourg
