RE: England in India - cricket

India have gone from 75-3 to 77-6 in the space of half and hour!

0741: WICKET India 77-6 (Sehwag 0) The change works perfectly as Anderson finds some reverse swing to beat the cumbersome Sehwag and it's an easy lbw decision for Hair.

Tremendous result to beat India by 212 runs and tie the Series, especially with half the Ashes side missing for one reason or another.

I see Duncan Fletcher rates tieing the Test Series in India almost as highly as winning the Ashes. So, MBEs for them all then and OBEs for these that already have MBEs !

That's just a joke by the way.  Much as the Ashes Series victory was so enjoyable , it remains a ridiculous decision to award MBEs to all these players for effectively winning one of a biannual series of matches against Australia  for the simple reason as far as I could see that England hadn't won a series against Australia for ages.

Helps , of course, to have Lord MacLaurin on the sports awards panel.
