Soderling seems to be holding a lot more easily than Andy. I'm beginning to get very worried that Andy isn't turning this round and making headway into the Soderling serve.

I think we may well have to be happy with the quarter finals this time around. The lad is still making progress.

I agree, Andy just hasn't picked the Soderling serve well today from the sound of it, although credit to Soderling - he has been placing his serves extremely well in this match

Murray needs to break back fast or this match could run away from him

Getting to the quarters has been a quality performance though, he's outperformed his seeding

Whew! The depression lifts a little.

Andy had 2 break points at 15-40 but Soderling got a good call which Murray was complaining about. Soderling then played a nice point to bring the score to deuce. Murray was frustrated and tossed his racket and got a warning for an audible obscenity.

Soderling serves an ace to save the break point, Murray is unhappy as he thought it was wide. The umpire thought it caught the line so won't overule.
