Week 40 - Sweden F6 ($15,000) - Jönköping (Hard - indoors)

Ed is getting close to guaranteeing a trip to Aus open Q (assuming 250 cut off)

The current ranking of 250 is 192pces

Ed is on 204pces live with max of 25 to come off (32 replaced by 7), so just needs a further 13pts. A win this week would be enough.

Live at present;

Andy, James W and Kyle already there

(Net)

Ed 179

Evo 162

Dan S 158

Dave Rice 154

Liam 143

Dan C 138

Brydan 129

Alex 123

SF:  David O'Hare (IRL) & Joe Salisbury CR 2284 (964+1320) defeated (1) Lewis Burton & Ed Corrie CR 388 (234+154) by 4-6 7-6(4) [10-4]  biggrin  bleh

*****

Final:  David O'Hare (IRL) & Joe Salisbury CR 2284 (964+1320) vs (2) Isak Arvidsson & Markus Eriksson CR 635 (319+316)

The second seeds should be a pushover for a pair that's just despatched the top seeds... wink

Well, it's maybe about time that Ed and Lewis shared their toys with other boys :)

Impressive - they knocked out the 3rd seeds in R1, the top seeds in the SFs and the 2nd seeds in the Final!

They have met before - maybe you're checking on the ATP and it isn't on there yet.

H2H 1-0 - Ed beat Zopp 0 & 4 in last week's semi-finals

It's first Futures title of any kind for either of them

Really pleased for joe and David. It's not been simple to crank up the singles points, although it's coming along.

But a 15k doubles title is a really nice ticket. Good points. Some dosh. Nice bit of silverware. Well done lads ::))
