Richard Gabb and Jack Carpenter should be in the main draw here, with Richard seeded.

I'm surprised that Robbie beat Marshall. I saw both at Wrexham and was impressed, but I just got the impression Marshall would be slightly more experienced and solid and come through this.
Robbie is definitely one who has potential to pick up ranking points on a fairly regular basis.
In the MD, Robbie gets Jack, which is unfortunate (for us, maybe not for Robbie) . . .
R1: (5) Richard Gabb WR 552 v Andrei Ciumac (MDA) WR 744 (CH 556 in May 2013) age 29
R1: (q) Robbie Riddout v Jack Carpenter WR 741
Robbie even gets Jack in the doubles ! Jack playing with Tom Allen, and Robbie as a wildcard entrant with Bava (IND). Last week's champs, Scott and Richard, are teaming up again, but get the third seeds . . .
R1: (3) Markos Kalovelonis & Issam Haitham Taweel (GRE/SYR ??? EGY according to the ATP) CR 1110 (664+446) vs Scott Clayton & Richard Gabb CR 1181 (654+527) R1: (WC) Haadin Bava (IND) & Robbie Ridout UNR vs Tom Allen & Jack Carpenter UNR
match tie-breaks for all, but Scott and Gabb march on, slaying seeds left, right and centre:
R1: Scott Clayton & Richard Gabb CR 1181 (654+527) def. (3) Markos Kalovelonis & Issam Haitham Taweel (GRE/SYR ??? EGY according to the ATP) CR 1110 (664+446) 2-6 6-2 10-2
R1: Tom Allen & Jack Carpenter (UNR) def. (WC) Haadin Bava (IND) & Robbie Ridout UNR 4-6 6-1 10-2

Wondering whether to post this summary when it's been covered in 2 of the last 3 posts, but Yamasaki's rankings (especially the junior one) might have some relevance here, so ...

L16: (5) Richard Gabb WR 552 v (WC) Anil Yuksel (TUR) WR 902 (= CH) L16: Jack Carpenter WR 741 v (Q) Jumpei Yamasaki (JPN) WR 1423 (CH 1121 in May; junior WR 14)
