Nice forehand winner to close it out.

A strange match, in which Jo seemed a bit timid timid in taking charge in the first set, such as her superior game dictated. She could well have lost that first set, digging herself well out of one spot at *15-40.

When she finally got the break though she cruised home, and looked very well within herself.

Top seed Tatishvili or Boserup in the SF, both beatable - I'd actually prefer Anna, Boserup can play some excellent tennis on her day.

You don't really think me waiting until JoKo had held serve again before saying that was an accident, do you? wink I was going to say it at *2-2 but then thought, no, too risky! (not that I really believe in the jinxing thing)

Anyway, in today's match, JoKo has just saved at least 1 match point and held for 4-5* in the 3rd, leaving Tatishvili to serve for the match.
