Well, I'm not posting it - I'm sulking !

A lot of my faves have been drawn one against the other - am NOT happy . . .

Opened the draw and the first thing I saw was [1] Cox v Salisbury. No thank you, Wrexham 15k.

2 x lucky losers - looks like late withdrawals by Dan Smethurst and Rob Carter.

I think Nigel S is physio, (Not there on Sunday), so will ask about Dan S.

Some tasty encounters - Cox v Salisbury and Rice v JWH come straight to mind.

PS - will try and tweet the odd bit of info when I can(@isenator1) assuming I can get a signal.

It's a real pity how Dan S appears to have been held back these last few months by niggles and I think illness at one point.

With the way he finished last season then started this one, and relatively very little to defend over the summer, I really thought that he would be top 200 by now.

I hope that this has just been delayed for a little while. That forehand was looking a great weapon.

I agree, shame about Dan S. would definitely be top 200 by now if he'd stayed fit. As for this week, I'd like to see Cox take the title with a lot of points off recently...

The day ends with Josh Sapwell getting his first ATP singles point and his first win at Futures level - he hasn't played Futures qualifying before, just two wild card R1 losses. Only the Frenchman prevented Brits getting all the ranking points here.

Lovely weather again, set fair for the week.

Mainly a very high standard of tennis, although some on court attitudes could be improved(Milts/Marcus)

Bambo was the best performance on show. Alex v Bettles was a quality match.

More late on when I get home from the football.
