Marcus has a great chance to pick up big points. The winner should come out of the top 5 as the draw has weakened significantly. Wrexham might be a bit tougher as the draw is much stronger.
I know that there are geographic issues with simply calling this tournament Cumberland, but that is its quite common appendage and London is a big place.
So for possible future reference, "London Cumberland" ?

Great weather predicted for the rest of the week should be a treat. Should be the called the Erith Open with lots of SE London school kids going to watch ie the kids who turn out in Burgess Park every week etc... the state kids don't go back for a couple more days that would be 2k well spent by the LTA . Any idea how big the venue is?
But no it's in West Hampstead. The venues are a major problem in terms of engaging the wider population, sticking some top quality courts in 4 parks in SE and NE London capable of hosting a futures tournament in for example Ilford, Dagenham, erith and Lewisham and running a British Tour events there in summer holidays every year would perhaps make a dent in the demographics that truly hold back tennis development in the UK.

They started playing matches at the NTC at about 4. I don't see why they couldn't have at least done the draw by now and put some sort of OoP together.
