Tamarine breaks back for 2-2*

Emily certainly seems to be maintaining her encouraging level from the last few months.

I really hope that she can get the win here.

After being 2-0 and 40-15 on Tamarine's service Emily loses 5 games in a row for *2-5

Was she definitely 40-15 up at 2-0*? I'm sure she was 40-15 down, then got it back to deuce, saved another game point, missed a break point, and then Tammy held? I was only half watching bet365 but I definitely remember Tammy looking like holding that game easily.

Emily scored 91 points to Tamarine's 90 and 4/9 breaks against Tamarin'e 4/6 so it really came down to who won the key points.

That's a real shame.

Was closer than I expected but she did have a couple of opportunities in that third set to take this one. There was really very little in it.

It's pleasing to see her, seemingly, playing good tennis, even if she wasn't able to get the win this week. Tammy posted on her facebook that Em player very well and she was relieved to come through.

It's interesting that she's sticking solidly to $25ks, rather than dropping down to $10k's, where she seems to be playing well enough to be reaching finals (for example after these two Japanese $25k's there's a $10k in Kyoto, but Em isn't entered there).
