No, James is the only Brit who has beaten Albot this year. However, that win in Roland Garros qualies was on Albot's best surface. The Moldovan no. 1's wins here were his first win *off* clay since Guangzhou Futures in March!

Dan Cox has played Albot this year, in the New Delhi Challenger in February, but Albot won 4 & 3.

Thankfully I'm not able to scorewatch any further. If James wants to progress, he's going to have to do it in three. 1-6.

James McGee qualified, despite being bagelled in the 1st set. Let's hope that Wardy can complete a similar turnaround.
