Sort of a new variant of the "British when he wins and a Scot when he loses" kind of thing - if she gets to the later rounds, she reverts to being an Aussie? Jesting aside, well done to Ms Wallace. Some very fine results. Mayo Hibi is a tough test for Ms Boulter - will be interesting to see how that goes.
The score will keep disappearing because the match is an 'extra' one to the original daily schedule - due to catching up after yesterday's bad weather in Winnipeg.
Constant refreshes keep the match on the scores though.
The match scheduled after Izzy's on court 6 has started so it suggests her match has finished, unless they have switched the score round that's a stunning result for Izzy.
Izzy is currently ranked 1266 with just 3 points - she has 1 point from Woking to go on next Monday and now 19 from here to go on at the end of the US Open, which will take her to around (probably just outside) the top 750!

I know she does but she did play for Australia for a while (though I realise you may not have been saying she didn't, just providing info )
There was an article in the local paper Press and Journal Aberdeen based paper. Izzy's parents put her to Austraila because there was no funding from the LTA I think they thought that she would get better coaching there. I know the money issue was a strong reason why she played in Australia. I am unsure but she may have had relatives there. However she definitely is Scottish her dad has a business in Inverness.
