Wishing Jo all the very best on her comeback, impossible to know what to expect, a win would be a nice surprise.

All about shaking off some rust before New York.

Jo's match has started with a hold followed by a deuce game on the Ormaechea serve. It is on Ken Thomas's schedule (www.radiotennis.com) but the website appears to be down at present.

Jo 61 33*

Broke in the first game of the second and has just missed 2 break points

*3-4

Has had her chances to put this to bed. Doing better than I expected but lack of match fitness could come into play.

No rust on JoKo, apparently

QR1: Johanna Konta WR 119 beat Paula Ormaechea (ARG) WR 98 (CH 59 last Oct) by 1 & 4

She'll probably play the top Q seed next.

Cheers steven, would be an opportunity for Jo to gain revenge for Wimby.
