FWIW, I've got a good feeling about Harriet just now.  Since she's started to concentrate on seniors and not trying to split her attention between both the junior and senior tours she seems to be making steady progress.  The last time I saw her at Notts, I thought she was starting to develop a more mature game.

I saw her at Manchester last year and the talent was there, but just panicked when she was put under pressure. Hopefully she has matured mentally.

Quarterfinal

Harriet DART (GBR) / Anna MORGINA (RUS) [1] 6-2 6-1 Yixuan LI (CHN) / Jiaxi LU (CHN)


Elena will be a tough match tomorrow and I've never seen Harriet play (would very much like to) but, like the Optimist, I've been impressed by the improvement in her results and her consistency over the past 6 months or so - some very good upsets against higher placed players and generally nice clearcut wins against lower or similar ranked players.
