RE: Week 33 - ITF ($25K) - Woking, UK - hard

Bit of a discrepancy on the live scores - ITF show 5-5 in the 3rd, bet365 4-4 and the stream 4-5* 2 match points to Sasnovich - sadly, it looks like the stream is correct.

L32: (Q) Charlotte Pearce UNR lost to (2) Aliaksandra Sasnovich (BLR) WR 123 (= CH) by 6-2 1-6 6-4

Quite a performance though!

Well done, Charlotte. That was a superbly well-earned 1 point, qualis and MD combined.

Best of luck for the future and another point, and ranking, soon.

Good work Charlotte - some nice rallies in that match; many fewer UEs than you expect from an unranked player, and some nice passing shots from Charlotte.

Any news on what's happened to Katie? The score seems to have disappeared from the ITF live updates.

They seem to have been losing scores from the ITF update site all week, whether it is a software bug or mishandling data input at Woking is not clear.

Em WS looks to have got a win by retirement :::))) (If you trust the ITF site, which is not maybe the best idea at the moment, but that's what it says).

Izzy seemed to be 4-4, before another rain delay kicked in.

Agree that Kaite has a good chance tomorrow - the Polish girl was hardly invincible against Eden.

Izzy's match seems to have resumed (indoors?). Despina served for the set, at 5*-4, but Izzy broke back to 5-5

Tara lost 6-4 6-4

edit: and now it says 'rain delay' again cry  So, guess not indoors, huh ?

I hope that's right but it seems to be a retirement before a ball was hit, i.e. a withdrawal, which should let a lucky loser in.

She might possibly have retired in the warm-up, though, which wouldn't show on the scoreboard but would be an actual retirement and not a withdrawal.

Not that I wish the poor girl ill but I hope she managed just a couple of forehands before deciding it wasn't a good idea smile
