Peliwo didn't last long - managed to lose to an unranked American in the final qualifying round!

Brit takeover this week, I wonder what the record is for Brit involvement in an overseas futures tournament ( exc Ireland ).

A quick check of the overseas Futures since the start of 2010 where Brits have picked up 30 points or more (only 9 tournaments, 7 excluding Ireland) gives the following:

6 Brits at Marathon 10K in week 21 last year ((7) Rice WIN, (5) Gabb RU, (1) Baker QF, (2) Goodall QF, Gill R1, (Q) Hutt R1)

5 Brits at Heraklion 10K in week 46 last year and at Danderyd 10K in week 38 in 2011

There may well be Futures that had more than 6 Brits who weren't as successful as the ones at these events, but the above suggests 6 is not unheard of, albeit still a rare event.

Thank you for taking the time to do the research Steven, always on the case.

2nd set into a breaker as well. 12 service games each and no breaks at all. On BPs, Nielsen is 0/8 and Luke 0/5

91 points each too as Luke gets a mini-break in the tiebreak

That top 500 place for Luke will have to wait a bit longer ............. but it is coming.

I'm not sure why Ash has travelled all the way to Canada for 2x15k on hard. His best surface is clay and he should be playing clay 15ks and challengers in Europe.

This trip will be a waste of time for him.

He lost both match points on serve from *6-3 up when I first checked the score but finally, we have a winner ...

L16: (Q) Scott Clayton WR 1183 v Daniel Nguyen (USA) WR 480 (CH 418 in 2013)

I agree and the H2H with Nguyen would certainly back up that suggestion!
