The best draw she could ask for, I suppose! Obviously the rub with Masters is that you're very likely to face a seed by the second round, so with a fellow Q in the 1st, the (however remote) possibility of not facing a seed in the 2nd is kind enough. Plus, not the toughest (but still very tough) of seeds. :)

I'd put Smitkova in the dangerous/ not to be taken lightly category. Form looks a little streaky, but when on, is definitely capable of beating Hev. Actually reached R4 at Wimby and beat Jovanovski and Coco Van along the way. Young, improving and only lost 9 games in qualification to two strong players in Vesnina and Min.
Only match i have seen her play was when Safarova demolished her at Wimbledon so hard to judge her game, but I think she is the kind of player who is likely to struggle against Hevs game type as she seems quite error prone and inconsistent so will not enjoy being made to play the extra balls Hev will give her.
