At least Liam's form has picked up a bit in his North American adventure after a very slow start.
Should now be into the top 350 and is at this stage into the GB top 10 on Monday week, though will be displaced by Brydan Klein if he wins the futures title in Spain.
Interesting points, but given that Somdev Devvarman had been a singles NCAA champion twice and Mr Inglot and Mr Shabaz NCAA doubles champions once well before Mr Frank arrived at Virginia, I'm not sure I'd agree with your characterisation of their programme.

We will have to agree to disagree but I think it is not unreasonable to call Virginia a solid but unspectacular sporting college, 1 male team championship ( with Franks in the team) doesn't even scratch the surface of the PAC 10 now 12 schools with Stanford, UCLA and USC all having greater than 15 in men's tennis and similar records in ladies. Their honours boards read in terms of grand slam wins not NCAA championships so while the achievements of Somdec Devvarman (wr 140 ish) and Dom Inglot have merit they don't quite compare with the elite tennis programs Roscoe Tanner, McEnroe s, Jeff Tarango, and Bryan brothers (Stanford) etc......
