Well done, Jake. As you say, good win.

NB I've known Hugo Gaston since he was a tiddler and he was always up there, but not the absolute star. But this year (last month, in fact) he rather unexpectedly won the French U14 National Championships.

So obviously on good form and not surprising he beat Jack Draper who is also a very young U14, a 2001, i.e. not even 13 yet I think, birthday in December. (Whereas Hugo is 13, will be 14 this september).

Competitive, but the TE2 prevailed. Coupled with defeat in the doubles semis for the girls that ends British interest in the under 14s

Boys QF

(2) Rudolf Molleker (GER) d. Jake Hersey (GBR) 7-6(3) 6-3
