Good stuff from the girls so far and Jay of course.

Hoping to see Jodie and Nastya make some big moves in the rankins now. Would like to see both close to or in the top 100 by the years end.

Don't forget Jodie and Nastya have only just turned 15 and both will be into the top 200 next week. Needs to start playing and winning at Gr1 & 2 soon to improve the ranking. They also need to pick up some decent doubles points.

I would prefer if the LTA pushed the girls to play a bit more on the ITF main circuit and gain experience that way.

As you say, paulisi, Jodie and Anastasia have both just turned 15 ( actually both born 28/05/99 ).

Personally, I wouldn't have thought that there was any real hurry for them to be involved on the ITF main circuit, presuming you mean the senior circuit.

Maybe essentially play the rest of the year in juniors, hopefully indeed ramping it up, and see how that goes. Then think more about the main circuit next year ?

If they were , say, already top 100 junior players maybe, and there is certainly much to be said for not delaying matching up with older players too long. I think though that they may be fine developing exclusively in the junior ranks for now.

Exactly and I know Jodie's team have a good balance between schooling and tournaments.

Of course both both should have exams next year, so may play less in the next 12 months.

Scores haven't been updated, so no play yesterday?

Good effort from Jay, agonisingly close from Jodie, but Rosca too strong in the bottom half (not a surprise judging from her record). With regards to playing pro tournaments remember that Heather played her first just before her 17th birthday
