Slightly surprisingly bookies have Klein and Corrie as favourites.

Matches underway. I think we may have a George C v Rice final.

Never bet against the bookies wink

Brydan wins the 1st set 6-1 and Ed is now 4-1* up on George.

George C won 6-2 in the third

Interesting that George didn't enter Dublin 15k and doesn't seem to have any entries for next few weeks. Any idea of plans? Challenger qualis in US?

He had better enter something pretty soon as he is closing in on a Top 500 spot. Especially if he wins in the final here.

Today's win will take George into the ATP top 600 for the first time.

FINAL: (2) Dave Rice WR 310 v George Coupland WR 675

H2H 2-2 but George has won both meetings this year in straight sets

Not the final I would have bet on, but quite happy to see it.

Dave moves to 101 ranking points earned this year, the 8th GB guy over 100 points in the year to date.

Last year, in week 29, Ed Corrie was becoming just the 3rd so far in 2013.

Overall, pointswise, there have certainly been some good advancements by the top GB players in the first half of 2014.
