A couple of other snippets about today. Apparently James had 12 break points against Myles but didn't manage to convert any of them.

Also, this is now going to be the 2nd biggest GB singles points haul from a Futures event (after Manchester two weeks ago when Brits snaffled all the points)

We haven't been the most hospitable bunch, that's for sure!

Makes a change, it isn't so long ago that the foreign bods frequently invaded these shores and snaffled nearly all the points in GB Futures!

There were many more foreign players around for the 10Ks earlier in the year, with some serial points scorers, but it is the grass tournaments that we have assigned 15K status to ( I think there are maybe later year 15K hard court tournaments ).

And there seem very few foreign players bothered about grass, particularly futures. Sneaky :)

Ed has the first set 6-1.

Not over yet but even if Orton loses (likely) he'll be on the cusp of breaking into the top 1000 (might even make it). It'd be a nice milestone :)

dave Rice was 5-2 up but Josh M has an 'annoying' habit of not going away . . . Josh won 4 games and now Dave is 5*-6

George C 5-2 up against ATB

that means that Gosling get three out of three through - and three out of four semi-finalists are Gosling guys - not bad :)

Slightly surprisingly bookies have Klein and Corrie as favourites.

Matches underway. I think we may have a George C v Rice final.
