No doubt she'll draw Rybarikova, but if she doesn't she has a real chance at picking up another WTA main draw win.

Another very convincing win - I was expecting a close match so that is a great result. If she can maintain this form into the main draw she will have a great chance of getting one or more main draw wins.

Well done to Ms Konta. Indeed, perhaps doubly well done. I went onto the WTA site to check the qualifiers and saw that due to a computer glitch, she has received not one but two qualifying spots: www.wtatennis.com/qualifying-draws/tournamentId/1190/type/RS/title/teb-bnp-paribas-istanbul-cup. That should ensure at least one decent draw (only joking).

I watched their last match. Jo didn't even have to play her best tennis to win with a bit of comfort. Nara doesn't like the spin on Jo's groundies.

Jo has yet to lose a set to Nara in 5 meetings - 3 Hard, 2 Grass. Closest set was a TB, which Jo took comfortably 7-1.

Fingers crossed Jo keeps that up - the top 100 could be a big boost to her confidence and she should now have her sights on top 75

This would be a bad time for that H2H to end, as I see that JoKo has a very reasonable chance of a 60 point QF place if she can get past the first round.
